Dejan has started his journey with two suitcases arriving at Oslo Gardermoen airport. We had a big wish to change our lives primarily for our son.

The powerful support, wife Biljana, and son Matija stepped up in the rollercoaster ride as soon as they arrived one year later in 2009.

It was many years of excitement for us from getting the contract of employment, via work, and residence permits, via visit and family reunion visas, via entering kindergarten and later school, via driving test, via language classes and tests, via buying real estate, and car, via establishing in a new society, up to getting citizenship and passport.

Norway escapades give us a lot of new experiences. We have learned a lot about ourselves as well. As a result of setting journey in a new country, we have learned what was needed to accomplish all the above stages. Our wish is to share that knowledge with all of you who consider relocating to Norway.

Our son Matija has passed a long way since his arrival. First, he was in kindergarten, followed by primary school (barneskole) from the sixth year up to the seventh grade. At the moment, he is in elementary school (grunnskole). He is the best treasure family Mladenovic got. We will keep him shining as the guiding star in our life journey.

Biljana is a graduate economist and works as a financial accountant in a construction company in Oslo. It was a rough start for her in Norway with lots of tasks learning the language, attending NAV courses. In the end, it was successful. Now she is the family pillar.

Dejan was the main reason for relocating to Norway. He started working as a Technical System Analyst, and you can read about his first day at work. Later he worked as a senior technical consultant with Agresso ERP, MS SQL, Oracle, PowerShell, and many other IT technologies. Dejan is a Master of Science in Engineering recognized by NOKUT. He is a citizen of the world since he has lived and/or worked in Serbia, Austria, Slovenia, the USA, and now in Norway.

We as a family enjoy our time in Norway and like to travel in Europe by car or take short city breaks in the beautiful cities of Europe. When we are not traveling we are exploring nature. It is a lot to see in Norway. Country of natural beauty.
